Nicole

Nic is a Jack of all Trades, Master of Some ;)

She is a qualified Eyelash, Piercing & Hair Extension Technician at Amplify but also has qualifications in Management Accounts and spent time in the UK wiring up submarine missile launchers & flight simulators.

Most of her spare time is spent on the business but outside of that she enjoys spending time with her 2 children & cocker spaniel Milo.

Rebecca

Rebecca is one of our full time Piercing Technicians and Shop Manager.

Growing up in Dunedin, her dream job has always been a Body Piercer so she is super stoked to be part of the Amplify team.

In her spare time you will most likely find her using her creative skills either drawing or painting. She loves spending time with her family and her cat Karly.

Rebecca is our most pierced and most tattooed but don’t let that fool you, she is oh so gentle ;)

Candice

Candice is Amplify’s resident Piercing Technician but is a woman of many talents with qualifications in Beauty Therapy, Childcare, Food & Hygiene, First Aid and Bar Managing.

With thousands of piercings under her belt, Candice is passionate about giving you a great piercing with good aftercare advice.

Candice is a mum of 2 and enjoys gymming, yoga, family time and socialising.

She is our boldest and brightest team member, you’ll see her coming!

Sophie

Sophie, our senior beauty therapist, graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Beauty Therapy from Aoraki Polytech in 2006, making this her 15th year working in the industry!

Although Sophie loves all the treatments she provides, she has a serious passion for brows. With her talent for the artistic and attention to detail, we are sure her clients would agree, that she is one of the best brow artists in town.

Sophie has recently graduated from dental school with a Bachelor of Oral Health and continues her post graduate studies in Public Health, Health Promotion.

When Sophie has free time, she enjoys spending it with her 6 year old son and fur babies, gardening, reading and drawing.

Paige

Paige has been in the beauty industry for 7 years. She graduated from Aoraki and Otago Polytechnic with her Certificate and Advanced Diploma in Beauty Therapy as well as ITEC qualifications.

In the past year Paige also gained a Certificate in Classic Lash Extensions to add to her many talents. She enjoys most things from the beauty world but has a big passion for makeup and the creativity behind it, she will often spend her spare time creating new looks.

Paige brings Dermaplaning and Massage to Amplify and is excited to share her talents with you.

She is your pink haired, cat obsessed, bubbly therapist and fits perfectly with the Amplify team.

Liv

Annabel

Annabel qualified from Otago Polytechnic and recently moved back to Dunedin from Melbourne.

She has a love of all things skin and attends as many training courses as she can.

In her own time you will find her with her family or reading a book on true crime.

Danelza

Danelza established Xaria Xiomara about 8 years ago, but has always been passionate about helping people feel good about themselves and using hair art for creative expression.

Xaria Xiomara means gift of love, ready for battle and this sums up Danelza and her passion beautifully.

She has built Xaria Xiomara from the ground up, putting in the hard yards to support her family. Her hairart is entirely self taught and she loves spending time getting to know her clients throughout the process.

Danelza has previously undertaken teacher training and is currently also working towards a qualification in drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Danelza is married with 2 beautiful girls and a growing collection of pets! Her faith is super important to Danelza. She is highly creative and spends her free time doing crochet or just chilling with her family.

Summer

Summer is using quality brands to ensure the strength and quality of your enhancements. After experimenting with many brands and products over the years. Summer now only works with the best brands like Ugly Duckling and Naio.

Summer always enjoyed art and painting subjects at school, leading her to specialise in nail art and structure in her work.

Summer is one of the few techs around offering you many gel services to ensure your nails stay the healthiest they can.

She stumbled upon her passion for nails accidentally when she purchased an acrylic kit to do her own. Starting her training in 2017 she watched hours upon hours of YouTube and searched the web for the best techs she could find. She wants to be the best, and believes no matter how good you may be you never stop learning.
