Nicole
Nic is a Jack of all Trades, Master of Some ;)
She is a qualified Eyelash, Piercing & Hair Extension Technician at Amplify but also has qualifications in Management Accounts and spent time in the UK wiring up submarine missile launchers & flight simulators.
Most of her spare time is spent on the business but outside of that she enjoys spending time with her 2 children & cocker spaniel Milo.
Landa
Senior Laser Technician
Landa is Amplify’s Senior Beauty and Laser technician. After completing her studies at Otago Polytechnic in 2019, she received Student of the Year and began her beauty career. Previously, Landa was working in early childhood education. Landa rejoined the team in early 2025 and has been overseeing all things skin and laser hair removal since.
Over the last 7 years Landa has gained experience in all things brows, lashes and skin. With genuine care and knowledge for her clients’ skin health and quality, we can proudly say she is everybody’s favourite laser technician.
On her days off, you are guaranteed to find Landa at any beach walking her three dogs in the sun.
Sophie
Sophie, our senior beauty therapist, graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Beauty Therapy from Aoraki Polytech in 2006, making this her 18th year working in the industry!
Although Sophie loves all the treatments she provides, she has a serious passion for brows. With her talent for the artistic and attention to detail, we are sure her clients would agree, that she is one of the best brow artists in town.
Sophie has recently graduated from dental school with a Bachelor of Oral Health and continues her post graduate studies in Public Health, Health Promotion.
When Sophie has free time, she enjoys spending it with her 6 year old son and fur babies, gardening, reading and drawing.
Honor
Honor is our resident piercer. After completing her training at the London Piercing Academy in 2025, they joined the Amplify team! Honor is also the face behind our socials and admin.
Honor loves all things piercing and is always up for a challenge or new project; ear and face piercing curations are always a favourite.
Outside of work Honor can be found at the gym or on the beach searching for the Dunedin sun.
